Content Reactions and Feedback

Content reactions and feedback allow content creators to gather quick feedback about their content.

Reactions give your users the option to 'like' the content with a thumbs up reaction.

Feedback gives your users the option to say if the content in the message was useful or not for them. This can be a great tool for selecting the right audience for future messages.

Requirements

Supported on Windows, Mac OS, iOS and Android.
Available on App versions 20.02 or higher.

Reactions and feedback is available for the following build your own templates as well as selected pre-built templates.

  • Desktop Alert
  • Video Alert
  • Newsletter

Note: Some templates may display a different reaction which is not available for selection.
Example: The New Employee templates only allows for the "Wave" Reaction to be used.

Enabling Reactions

Within the content designer page, you will see a Reactions Section on the configuration panel.

By selecting this section, two options for reactions are made available:

  • Enable Reactions on this content
  • Show Reaction count

Once Reactions have been enabled, the Reaction bar will be displayed within the designer to allow you to see what the content will look like.

Using the previewer, you will be able to see what the content looks like and also interact with it.

The content can be "Liked" from the content window as well as the Feed view on the App.

Enabling feedback

Feedback can be enabled the same way as reactions but selecting the feedback option instead. Feedback gives you the addition option of changing the feedback message and text color.

Disabling Reactions

To disable the Reaction, simply switch disable the option within the configuration panel against your selected content.
Please note, if your content has been published, then you will need to re-publish for any new changes to take affect.

Reporting on Reactions and Feedback

If you have published content using the Reactions functionality, then the success report will display additional data, this includes:

  • Reactions Summary (Pie Graph)
    • This will display the Number of Users who have reacted to the content over the number of users who have downloaded the message content.
  • Reactions detail
    • The reaction the user has given will be listed against them
