IP Address Targeting

You can target content to devices in your organization using the IP address gathered from the device.

Target sets can be created using the shared target sets page and can be made up of CIDR notation, IP address ranges and single IP addresses.

Enabling IP address collection

IP Address collection can be selected from the App Profile, under User and Machine information collection method.

Collecting from the registry

You can set the registry path for your IP address under User & Machine information collection method in your App Profile. The Machine information method should be Registry setting and the Machine method settings should have ipAddress=[hkcu/hklm][path] (e.g. ipAddress=hkcu\Volatile Environment\ViewClient_IP_Address)

When the SnapComms App tries to collect the IP address, it will look in this location.
