Group Management

The SnapComms Windows App has a built-in capability to read and import user attributes and groups from your on-premise Active Directory if the user’s machine is connected to the corporate domain using an LDAP query / ADSI.

Note that the SnapComms App does not directly communicate with the on-premise Active Directory server.

Groups are automatically created in ‘Disabled’ status. Review the groups that your team will use for targeting and Activate those.

If your organization is not using on-premise Active Directory as a primary group management, SnapComms also offers Data Integration methods to import from other sources like Azure AD and HR platform. Reach out to tech.consulting@everbridge.com to configure this.
